Alexanthros was born on a starship to a Captain mother and a Writer father, learning the ways of sail, sword, and pen aboard a navy frigate. The first time he got off a ship a foreign port he almost immediately got sunburn. For Alexanthros there was no question, a life in the navy was ahead. He became a midshipman and graduated to Lieutenant, however his personality has placed him firmly into the role of executive officer of a much more dour captain, leading boarding parties.

His career was on track until the trading ship his mother and father was lost in space mysteriously, during the ten years of their disappearance he was granted the hereditary title of Baronet however his rebellious streak did begin to creep into his work and he was marooned in an executive officer role. Just like how his parents were discovered marooned on a dark and tribal planet ten years after their shipwreck, having made a home for themselves there. Leaving the title to their son to retire from court, they now live in a lovely bungalow on a small plantation growing sugar.
