Asrid, Docked at Port Endeavour.
She sat at her Desk aboard the Asrid, She was still filling out all the insurance paperwork for both the damages for the ship, and for her crew member that was still in the hospital on the Endeavour. Thinking too hard on Brianna and what had happened to her still made Yoshi Katai's eyes tear up. With a dark sigh she signed another page and slid the whole stack aside.
She was trying to keep busy until the possible new crew member showed. But she had been through four cups of coffee and really had to hit the head. Standing and stretching Yoshi stepped out of her quarters and started down the corridor of her ship toward the head.
[Y-Haul 0.1 Aside] Every Ship has its Deamons
Re: [Y-Haul 0.1 Aside] Every Ship has its Daemons
There was this strange, nearly mute humming that echoed through the hallway, lower yet louder it sounded after each step taken. The humming grew louder and deeper. Clearly this was not the doing of faulty machinery in the Astrid, it was something else. Something unknown. A spark jolted out of thin air, then another and another. In the middle of the corridor, the sparks spread and bounced off the metallic walls of the ship. It could have passed for some hallucinations but what was happening was very real. A spark lit up but didn't fade out like the rest. It turned into a violet orb of light, so small yet so bright, like a microscopic sun. The hum grew stronger and the sparks bounced on the walls even more frequently, and that unnatural sound turned into something more... organic? The lights flashed and the bright, almost blinding orb grew into a vertical disc that expanded slowly but surely. Inside the circle, light faded and shapes started to appear. The hum sounded clearer and stronger, and even some words started forming out yet still sounded heavily distorted.
A portal was opening, right there, before her very eyes! but what, or whom, was on the other side?

Main spinal corridor
The light and energy before her startled Yoshi at first, but as a captain in the Alliance, she had dealt with a lot of different things in her service. So she quickly stepped back to the nearest console and ordered the ship to raise a force field around the energy and the possible being within. Once it was contained She then punched her personal code into an arms locker and pulled a pistol from it. Checking to make sure it was fully charges she brought the weapon's settings up to max power before stepping into the center of the corridor.
"I'm not sure what you are, or what you think you are doing on my ship, but I can promise you that once I'm don't you'll pray for a dark prison cell on a forgotten frozen planet." She spoke calmly aiming right at the center of the possible being.

The portal could not expand further due to the force field fulfilling its functions. The sparkling and bright edges of the disk pushed against the force field but did little to nothing against it. Whomever or whatever was at the other side of the portal and wanted to cross it was now facing a wall, both literally and figuratively. The caster was at an impass, and Yoshi could now see more clearly the shapes and hear the deep tone of what seemed to be a man hidden under a cloak and the blur of the portal's astral sheet. He seemed to be chanting a tune in a foreign language, one that Yoshi may have never heard before:
" Paiymit Im Zidari Igh Amt'az Fiit, Ô Khaeyovi Amon Ik Fiit, En Ibana As Tyir Di Om Virilt Paiymit Ne Ivem. "
This phrase, over and over again in that monotone and gravelly voice. Azure eyes staring right into hers, focused and undisturbed. This portal that was opening, he or it was casting it in hopes of getting across, but why? One of the figure's hand opened and a parchment paper opened in their palm. Their hand was steady and stiff when the portal was opened at first, but with more time passing the caster seemed to struggle. Their speech started to become shaky and out of breath, and their pose was getting less steady. Still, the figure kept chanting, parchment in hand. Then, with a swift move of the wrist, threw the parchment that flew right through the portal and bounced against the force field's wall. It was at this moment that the person or creature stopped chanting, and with the silence, the portal was quick to close in a flash and a bang. The corridor was covered by a blinding light for merely a second before everything was gone.
Everything... except for the parchment that fell onto the metallic floor of the spinal corridor, still fuming with magic energy.

With her head cocked to the side in mild confusion, Yoshi lowered the pistol and thought for a moment. She was a bit worried about someone or something trying to board her ship, but the urge to pee was quite strong. Turning back to the console, she programmed a sensor sweep and auto force field operation, it should keep all portals contained until she could arrive and address them. Though she modded it a little so that it would expand to allow the portal to fully open, unless it's size would touch any parts of the ship. Then once she dropped the shield that was now just protecting her from a piece of parchment, she picked it up and moved to the head, with the parchment in hand. Reading as she walked.

One would expect a mildly long text in a foreign language that would be needed to be deciphered thoroughly before being able to read what it said. It was not the case. In fact, it was not even written in a foreign language like the one that figure chanted: It was written, dead center of the parchment paper, in plain and bold english, as if written with either a really thick brush or a marker.
It only read one word.
"RUDE."
The writting was pretty big too, aside of the tiny text written right under it that read as follows: (will still try again later)

Post potty break, back in the corridor.
With a relived sigh, Yoshi looked over the parchment again and rolled her eyes. "Suuuure I'm the rude one... I didn't try to rip open time and space in someone else's ship, without even a call ahead." She grumbled as she made her way down to the cargo bay.
Cargo Bay
She moved through the cargo containers that she still had to deliver. If it wasn't for the accident, the cargo bay would be empty the ship would have showed black on the invoice sheets, an Briana wouldn't be in the hospital recovering.
