Creature was thoroughly fed up. Worst of all he had, at Bresal's request done this mission sober. Rorik was just standing around as per usual. So Creature simply pushed forward nearly knocking him over. Things had changed, and so did his thought process. Though he had a lot more problems to consider in the future. The feeling of disgust, pain, and torment had gone away when he heard Ayana speak.

Rounding the corridor with haste, Creature continued forward with his sword at the ready. The dim signature of the shuttle seemed like a light at the end of the tunnel. Though none of them truly understood what this meant. The other fact was is this also meant that everybody sent on this mission was completely expendable...he would refrain from informing them of that.

As the lighter Jaime threw arced through the air, the single green glow behind Kelly's faceplate tracked it. Servos whirring, the security droid's hand shot out and gently pinched it between index finger and thumb.

"Dumbass, just hand it over next time," she muttered. Taking it in hand, Kelly slowly stepped towards the two doors on either side. Slinking close to the one clawed apart, she checked around the corner with the reflection on the lighter's casing, while simultaneously looking into the open doorway opposite it. Kelly quickly darted back as soon as she got a glimpse into both. "Stowage areas. They both got sleepers. Dead corpses just standing still like they're dozing. The one with the doors on the right's got some too, but I think the door still works," she pointed out to them. "No clue if closing it will wake up the others. We can either try just sneaking by both, or closing the door and fighting the other room," Kelly suggested. The moment Creature took the lead though, the droid shook her head and motioned for them to follow. It was almost too easy, making it to the shuttle, but they made it.

"If we start it up, the thing might not be ready to fly in time, and we'll be in for a fight. And that big one...it could wreck the shuttle. We'd have to kill it," the droid pointed out. Lifting up the top cover, she checked her arm mounted HMG and what ammo was left.

Wraith walked through the area his footsteps thundering off the floor as he made his way back to the group after patrolling the area. Carrying a rather large bullpup light support weapon and weaing a heavily reinforced armor trenchcoat.

Wraith grunted and nodded to the team telling them that the patrol was successful. since there was vary little he could do in the matter of speech with him having no lips as well as everything else wrong with his body.

Jaime moved behind a crate positioned about two and a half arms-length from the entrance to the shuttle. He looked to Kelly and then the shuttle with a suddenly uncomfortable look on his face. "It's a gamble I think we're gonna have to take. I'm low on rounds anyway, I believe everyone is." He took another look at the door from which they came in and came up with a sudden idea. His eyes seemed to flicker as his processors silently worked with his brain with probabilities and projections.

"Suggestion, if we leave everyone with high-powered guns and heavy weapons out here, those with the lowest ammo and calibers get the shuttle running with maybe a little bit more speed with heavy cover." He pointed towards the door with his left hand, "Especially if we can get a field of fire and possibly use some of the ruined shuttle fuel canisters or something as burners to keep a constant delay on these freaks."

His eyes were locked on the door, his mind locked on waiting for the first freak to walk through the door and start either a hasty escape or a forlorn last stand. He was visibly anxious, eventually going to a very sharp whisper, "Well, someone start this damn bus before we all get eaten!"

"Fine, just get in there already!" the security droid hissed at him, the mono-eyed glow behind its blank black faceplate rolling as she shook her head. Ushering the hover-stretchers along, Kelly kept watch on their rear as the shuttle ramp hissed open. With a heavy clank, it hit the floor. "I really hope they didn't hea - " What felt like the moan of a hundred voices began to slowly drone, low and drawn out, only to rise and rise like a fleshy siren. "Damnit, we should have just shut that door! Here they come!" As the moaning hordes of bodies began shambling into the hallway they just came from, the security droid let of short bursts of her belt fed .50 cal. "Get Ayana and Ylfa in and start the damn thing up!" Bodies were split in half by the massive rounds, only for the flesh to horribly twist and contort. Spinal cord like tentacles emerged from the lower halves, while upper torsos began to crawl on their arms, spines stretching out into bladed tails. Worst still, their jaws split into massive maws as blades sprouted from their arms, pushing through their palms.

But from deeper within the ship, it roared.

"Oh fuck this!"

Jaime outright threw his rifle through the opened hatchway and scrambled up the door with odd mechanical efficiency. He clambered over the seats, both hovering stretchers, and things left in the walkways before getting into the pilots seat. He began flicking the switches that he remembered by memory, rushing through the checklist reciting itself in his brain from his shuttle orientation instructor back in the Corps. "GAH FUCK THIS STUPID STARTUP BULLSHIT!" He slammed the auto-start and began working the throttles to attempt to force the engines to warm up those sacred few seconds faster.

After a moment, he growled out to himself as he clawed at the back of his neck for his data-cord. "If fuckin' Angry Blonde McFuckstick can do why can't I." He grabbed the cord and jammed it into the flight systems receptacle and began yelling in his mind to make everything work faster at the risk of blowing his own circuits.

"TURN ON YOU TWO CENT PIECE OF FUCKING TRASH!"

Frank set up witha good fireing line waited till he heard the roar from the ship as the creatures came into veiw franks parasite told said telepathically " get that shit started up we'll keep 'em busy!" frank lets out his own monsteres raor as he opened fire with his light support weapon. The recoil easily controlled due to his monsteres frame his protruding vains and sickly green flesh reverberating as each round was spent ripping and tearing the creatures asunder as the enter his line of fire threw the choke point.

The moment Jaime jacked into the shuttle and demanded it take off, he realized something horrible. It had been here for years on end in a frozen ship, it needed to warm up, and it wasn't smart enough to care he was in a hurry and that the undead were attacking.

The others however, were. As Frank's gun peppered the mass streaming in through the hallway choke point, the creatures just kept on coming, bullet riddled bodies being stomped underfoot as their forward crush pushed them onwards. Kelly's .50 cal punched clean through rows of them at once, but in a blink, it clicked. Tossing the arm extension aside, the security droid quickly attached her standard arm, the wrist mounted laser blasting away. Snapping between targets, Kelly quickly shot several in the head, the red laser punching clean through, but they kept coming. "Headshots don't work! Just cut their limbs off!" her speakers shouted. Claws and teeth slashed out at Frank as he stood his ground, raking across his chest as one closed in. There were only a few left, but already they were circling around, surrounding the group. One, its lower half blasted away, angled its sangling spine up like a scorpion and shot out a bony spike, pelting Kelly before it leaped again.

Jaime ripped the cord back out and checked the consoles to make sure it was warming up. He took the time to change his magazine to a full one, one of the two he had left that contained rounds. He racked back the charging handle and jogged back out the shuttle door back to the group and began trying to place shots at either chests for center of mass or what he guessed was left of them. He was being very careful with his shots, only taking them when he knew he could hit. Thankfully, he noticed their numbers dropping.

"Shuttle's warming up, let's just hope it keeps going." His voice was tinged with worry and anxiety, but his face was absolutely neutral. He seemed to not be caring enough to let his face make anything except for keeping tight against the stock. His eyes were darting between people extremely quickly, but always locked to a target when he fired before going back to everything else.

Sawyer would finally make his reappearance within the group, popping up out of cover to launch a pair of 40mm grenades at the back of the group of beings, aiming to dismember them with the fury of high explosives before starting to take well aimed shots at the pelvic girdles of each of the creatures, aiming to disable them without allowing them to be capable of morphing like these current ones were. Each time he landed a shot, he'd take a handful of additional ones at the surrounding creatures. His rifle that he was using looked much like most standard assault rifles but was in a rather larger caliber than most would usually use. The rounds as they fired almost matching in size to the ones being used by the security bot.

The thinnest, scrawniest and practically mummified bodies among them practically came apart under fire, but the better preserved undead simply didn't care and flooded forward. It didn't matter if their bones were broken, or their hips shattered. Like roaches, the dead kept coming towards the living. Even as the grenades exploded behind them, the fragments biting into their decaying flesh, they kept coming. Crimson red, one charged out of the dwindling horde and leaped at one of the men that had come along on the expedition. Impaling him through the chest with one scythe-like blade, its other limbs rapidly stabbed and hacked him apart like he was nothing more than a pinata, his limbless, headless torso tossed aside like so much meat. Far worse than a rabid dog, it snarled as its jerky movements brought its head looking at the remaining living.

"H0ly $h1t!" Kelly's speakers cried out. "Spread out and kill it!" There were only three of the regular undead left, still only just as fast or slower than the average man, but the crimson-headed one simply charged at Sawyer like a red blur. The security bot opened up with her lasers, holes scorching their way into its legs, but it didn't even slow down!

Sawyer would rotate the chamber on his grenade launcher, setting it to a massive buckshot round and fire it directly at the center of the crimson headed one before taking a rapid series of well aimed shots at the creature's head, pelvis, torso, and legs. His intent to use the buckshot to knock the creature back and possibly down before the other shots were intended to disable and cripple it long enough for the others to withdraw.

Jaime went after the one farthest to the right of the group, closest to their position. Raising his rifle up to his shoulder, he placed single rounds to the center of mass before moving towards the pelvis. He was being extra choice with his shots, waiting for the thing's reaction to each round before firing again. He was hoping to sever the actions of the top half before moving to the bottom half. If he ran out of ammunition it was over for him. He was down to the last few rounds in his magazine before he began to sweat again. "What's the status of the shuttle?" His voice was hurried, calmness having passed him much earlier.

The massive underbarrel weapon boomed as a hail of lead shot riddled the red, skinless body, knocking it clean off its feet and onto its back. Just as the crimson head scurried to get back onto its feet however, a hail of the big, heavy slugs ripped into it. Even with its pelvis broken, chest perforated and legs crushed by the sheer weight of hot lead, the thing was still still frantically dragging itself along the floor by the mantis-like blades that its arms had become. Striking both into the deck, the thing launched itself at Sawyer. Firing, leaping to the side, the former marine barely managed to get out of its way, only for the underbarrel launcher to shatter as its bony scythe slashed out at him. Collapsing on the floor, its body a broken mess, the thing began bringing itself around for another leap as Jaime fired on his own foe.

Twisted into a nightmarish mockery, its bloody limbs far longer than they should have been, the rounds the young man put into its chest hardly did anything at all. As Jaimie's gun walked down, the bullets finally shattering its hips, the thing fell forward, sprawling across the deck in a bladed flurry as he backed up just in the nick of time. The tips of its bladed arms slamming through the metal with one thunderous punch after another, the corpse dragged itself across the floor, mouth dripping vile, rotten drool as it single-mindedly tried to close. The moment the former marine spoke though, the shuttle ramp drew up as its rear hatched locked shut, engines thrumming as it began to taxi towards the opening hangar bay doors.

"M07h3r fuck3r!1!" Kelly swore. In order to give Sawyer and Jaime a fighting chance, the security droid had shifted targets. Sprinting forward towards the remaining two slashers, laser repeater blazing, she had leaped over them at the last moment. Her feet slamming onto the deck with a heavy, metalic thud, she spun around and burnt out the hips of one, only for the other to close in and start hacking out, breaking apart her arm-gun. "You just had to open your mouth!" Kelly's speakers yelled at the young man over the snowstorm rushing into the hangar. Leaping to the side, she desperately grabbed one of the industrial hull cutters strewn about and squeezed the trigger, swinging it about. Arms flying off, Kelly looped it around and sliced away its legs from under it. Torso flopping to the floor, the head gave out a long screech as it bubbled and went still, blood pooling on the floor. "Hack off the limbs! Grab any of the tools lying around and cut them up!" she ordered the others.

As Kelly quickly dispatched the crawler as it neared, they could hear a rumble from deep within the ship as heavy, plodding footsteps reverberated through the floor.

Wraith, otherwise known as, Frank, was wading through the body and using his heavy and tall frame to his advantage. His sword was in one hand and his service pistol was in the other as he regrouped with Kelly. His armored trench coat was in tatters with holes where his wounds were oozing blood. "So this job is pretty FUBAR, huh?" He said before putting the last shot of his pistol into a creature's head before swinging his sword heavily into its midsection.

"Of course it's FUBAR, I think it's our calling card and slogan, 'FUBAR Mission? We're on it'" Sawyer would say with a slight grunt as he quickstepped back, taking aim and seeking to slam a second set of heavy rounds into the thing's arms, seeking to disable it even as he would try to get one of the hull cutters to have an option for a different weapon if the rounds were insufficient to disable the creature enough to allow him to retreat to regroup with Kelly.
