Our characters aren't always the most successful in life and love. Sometimes, they get involved with the wrong person and end up on a nightmarish adventure. Perhaps, they tried to out honeypot a honeypot and ended up in a windowless room. Perhaps, they went on a themed cruise that just turned out.. wrong. Or maybe they just ended up having a deeply romantic moment in the middle of a fire fight.
We are looking for all of the messed up romance, dates from hell scenario stories you can think of! We are compiling a Shattered Universe setting, short story anthology along the theme of "Dates from Hell". This will be printed the print on demand service, Blurb.
The stories can be JPs or just a "story post". I am looking for entries of about 5,000 words (could be longer depending on number of entries).
All writers selected would get a free copy of the edited ebook.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase through the printer. The stories can be serious, funny, combat oriented but we are asking that it doesn't go past a hard "R" rating.
